This past weekend Adam and I went up to Park City to celebrate our anniversary.
We ate uninterrupted, we slept in, aaaaand we missed the baby like crazy.
I wanted to wear something I normally wouldn't dare wear with Jett, but I went ahead and spilled soy sauce on it myself.  Luckily, we had documented the fact that I wore a dress prior to dinner.

This clutch is a new fave from our MMM Collection.  And, can you believe these shoes were $35?!  So, remember how I told you that I got those red heels from this post in Stone as well? Well, I went to wear them and a tassel fell off.  So, I returned them... then saw they were $50 cheaper online!
Obviously needed them.  While I waited for those to ship, I snagged these babies, and I love 'em.
But, more importantly, THIS CLUTCH! :)

Happy Fourth of July!
I'm so excited to give you babes a heads up on what's been happening behind the scenes at Mindy Mae's Market.  But first, I want to explain this blog a little.. (it won't take long I promise).

This blog is in no way my attempt at being a fashion blogger or influencer.  While I will be showing you how I style our pieces, the things I buy, and use the occasional affiliate linking to show you where I purchase items; that's not my main goal.  The goal is to share our life with you.  To make Mindy Mae's Market a little more personal.  We want you to know us, and hopefully find a connection to what we're doing.  To feel comfortable reaching out if you think we can help with something.  We will use this blog to document what we do, and how we do it! I'll definitely be throwing in BTS (behind the scenes) of Mindy Mae's Market and be giving you guys tips, tricks, and secrets a little earlier than everyone else!

With that said...
See this amazing lace dress?! If you were to guess what the tag said inside, would your guess be Mindy Mae's Market!? Because that's exactly what it is!
Some of you may know, we carry a lot of Ampersand Avenue pieces. Ampersand Avenue is owned and operated by Adam (my husband).  So, those pieces are designed, patterned, and fabric swatched by Adam, our team, and I!
The Mindy Mae's Market collection will be a selection of my favorite pieces.  I've kept quality and price in mind -  striving for the best quality pieces at affordable prices.  We are crazy excited about the pieces we have ready to launch on July 18th!

To celebrate we are giving one lucky babe $200 to spend on the new line!

Floral for Spring..

Groundbreaking.

my outfit: DRESS (color: cream/rose) | HAT | SUNGLASSES
other dresses I'm loving: HERE (obsessing) | HERE (love the simplicity) | HERE

You guys, I don't wear dresses, and I don't wear maxi's. Yet... here I am.
Finding dresses long enough for my stems is basically unheard of. So, I was pretty stoked to find a couple that worked, this being one of them.
I hardly ever wear something other than MMM, for obvious reasons, so when I do I like to make sure it's a quality piece that I'll get my money's worth out of.
It's gonna be a sad day when I don't have Hawaii pics to share anymore.. we'll have a big 'ol reality joilt when that happens.

Floral Maxi

my outfit: DRESS | JACKET | SUNGLASSES
other floral dresses I'm loving: HERE | HERE | HERE

It's funny how things change. When I was little I LOVED wearing dresses. As I got older, I hated them - just give me jeans and a t-shirt. Now, I'm finding a serious love for dresses again. There is something so great about looking put together, but feeling comfortable.  If we are being totally honest.. no more leg prisons & if you play your cards right and get one long enough, you could get away with not shaving your legs!

Crochet + Celine

my outfit: DRESSPURSE | SUNGLASSES | SANDALS \\ (you'll see a lot of these sandals, they're on heavy repeat)
also loving these dresses:  HERE | HERE | HERE | HERE | HERE (splurge but OMG!)

I am loving all the white lace this season. Like, a whole lot. Adam and I don't date night too often, so when we do I love wearing something that isn't as easy to wear with Jett.  Like most, I love everything at Anthropologie, and this dress was no exception but it definitely isn't too kid friendly.  I do love that I don't have to pair much with it for it to look finished. And, I'm just warning you these sandals will be on heavy repeat - I love 'em so much.

My little dream team...

We were lucky enough to hit a huge milestone last year, and with that came reward!
We promised the office that once we hit that goal.. to Hawaii we would go!
We spent six nights on Kauai in the most beautiful home (more about that later).

Our staff pours their heart and souls into Mindy Mae's and it's so rewarding to celebrate their successes.  My little dream team isn't half bad either...

my outfit: DRESS \\ (it's $30!)

adam's outfit: SHIRT | SHORTS | SUNGLASSES \\ (shirt & shorts are on SALE!)

jett's outfit: SHIRT | PANTS (similar) | HAT | SHOES \\ (originally his outfit was from here, sold out online)
(You can't see his shoes, but I've linked them here, he gets compliments on them like CRAZY! - they also come in blue)
